Decorating my Planner and Journals + Planner Stickers

Happy day sweeties! It's been a very busy day for me since yesterday, I received some good news coming from the HR of our company but I won't spill it out yet. And because I have been very busy lately, I am starting to organize my plans, ideas, and things to do on my planner. Just so you know, I have been using the  Belle de Jour Power Planner for three years already. I started using it in 2013. I am so fond of seeing pastel and girly designs, but this is the first year that I will be filling my planner with stickers. In the past few years I only design my planner with colored pens, now I will be more decorative using stickers and washi tapes!

It's time to get my creative juices for this year. It's been a very long time since I have done scrapbooking. So I printed these lovely stickers on a matte sticker paper so that it looks like a paper when posted on the planner. There are several kinds of sticker papers in bookstores but this kind of material impressed me. Plus, the colors of the photos looks better here than glossy sticker papers.

What I did:
  1. I downloaded photos I like from Google.
  2. Opened MS Word, create tables of 5 x 5, then highlight the table.
  3. Right click, go to Table Properties > Row > Specify Height to 2" and Row Height is "Exact"
  4. Go to Column > Preferred Width to 1.5" and Measure in Inches.
  5. Select Ok

Your table will now look like this.

The measurements of your photos will depend on how you size it. You may change the height and width according to how you want it to look like on your planner. Then, simply drag your photos on the table and once completed, print it out on a sticker paper to have something like the one below.

I will post a separate blog on how my planner will look like in a week. I'm very excited to share it with you guys!

Hope you enjoyed creating your own designs.
