Happy 2016 sweeties! Did you have a blast welcoming the new year? Well, I had a blast. In fact, this was my exact get up before year 2015 ended and when I welcomed 2016. You know, the traditional polka dot outfit. Plus, I have a striped shorts but it wasn't visible on this photo. Wow! Time flied so fast it's already been a week for 2016! I wonder what's in store for me this year.
2015 has been a very challenging year for me. I met a lot of temporary people, lost someone I love, felt a lot of disappointment and heartbreaks, rejections and failures, but still, I manage to be alive. I just realized that in life, there will be a lot of ups and downs, and you just have to go through it. Because after all, life goes on - with or without the things you wish you could have. As for me, I am ready for the new challenges of 2016 to make myself a better person than I was in the past year!
Of course, everybody is already used to the cliche "New Year, New Me" series. This year, I won't be saying that phrase. Instead, "New Year, New Chance to Love Myself". Because in the end, the only person I can lean on is me. When the rest of the world walks out, the only person left is me. So I got to love myself more! And this year will be a very selfish year because I will be improving myself - physically, mentally, emotionally, financially (I hope so!). I will start to turn my dreams into reality. I will no longer hold back, because I know I'm not going there!
