There’s something magical about standing in a place you’ve only ever seen on screen: the quiet pause before a confession, the soft footsteps during a breakup, the kind of scenery that makes everything feel cinematic. I've been an avid fan of Korean dramas ever since it became a hit in the Philippines for as long as I can remember. I think the first ever K-drama I've watched was Full House and Save the Last Dance for Me. I was in elementary school those years and looking back, it was such a dream to be in the same places the actors have been to. Fast forward to when I was able to understand Korean dramas, I still feel the same feeling of excitement especially that remembering the scenes felt so iconic that my K-Drama heart screams for joy!
On my recent trip to South Korea, I realized I wasn’t just sightseeing. I was accidentally walking through some of the most iconic K-drama filming locations.
If you’ve ever wanted to feel like the main character in your own K-drama, here are the beautiful places you can actually visit, plus the dramas you’ve probably seen them in.
It’s beautiful, emotional, and yes, locals joke that couples who walk here break up.
