Singapore Travel Blog 2025 (Itinerary & Expenses)

It's my second time in Singapore! The first time was in 2019, just right before the pandemic hit the world. I posted a travel guide on my other blog - Wander with Shy - 6D5N DIY Singapore - Malaysia Itinerary. It was relatively cheaper that time, given that it was already more than 6 years ago. But Singapore is still a beautiful city as it is, and I'm happy to explore it again. It is true that once you started exploring other countries, there's just no stopping. Can you believe I have a long list of travel destinations? How I wish traveling the world is easy as 1-2-3!

Here's a quick guide if you're planning to go to Singapore anytime this year or the succeeding years.

Disclaimer: This blog is created based on my experience exploring the country. Please still do your due diligence to research further as some details may no longer be updated in the future.

Pre-Travel Check List:

Travel documents to prepare:

  • Valid passport (not expiring in the next 6 months)
  • E-Travel - This is free and can be downloaded as an app via Google Play Store or App Store (iOS) - https://etravel.gov.ph/. Register your details at least 72 hours before your departure date.
  • Airline Tickets - printed or digital copy
  • Hotel Reservation - printed or digital copy
  • Travel Insurance - this is optional but I always make sure that I have travel insurance for emergency purposes. We'll never know what will happen on the trip, so better be prepared. I have credit card travel insurance, but I still buy travel insurance just in case.
Before arriving at Singapore:
  • Fill out Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) - Access the SG Arrival Card through this link. To ensure a hassle-free entry to Singapore, make sure to fill out the Singapore Arrival Card at least 72 hours before your arrival to Singapore. This is free. You can also download the MyICA mobile app from Google Play and App Store (iOS) if you are planning to travel subsequently to Singapore.
Supplementary travel documents (optional, but still prepare in case asked by the Immigration officer)
  • Certificate of Employment
  • Bank Certificate/Bank Statement - proof that you can support your travel
  • Sample Itinerary
  • Activity vouchers booked from Klook or other travel apps
