Harry Potter: Visions of Magic at Resorts World Sentosa

As a lifelong Harry Potter fan - who has watched all 8 movies and read the 8 books several times (yes! Including The Cursed Child) - I've always dreamed of experiencing the magic beyond the pages and screens. It was a dream to live in the world of Harry Potter, and I told myself that I've got to experience this. My initial plan was to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Japan, but I haven't booked my ticket to Japan yet. So when I realized that there is a Harry Potter-themed attraction in Singapore, I grabbed my wand (okay, fine - my phone to book tickets!!) and waited for the day I'll step foot in the Harry Potter: Visions of Magic at Resorts World Sentosa.

It was a dreamy experience - and it feels like I was transported into the world of enchantment. The experience was brimming with magic! One of the highlights of my visit to Harry Potter: Visions of Magic was the wand experience. Holding a wand and casting spells in real time was a childhood dream! It truly felt like I was at Hogwarts. The background music was even played which makes the experience reminiscent.

The exhibition is located at The Forum, Level B1, Resorts World Sentosa, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098269.

Operating hours: Daily from about 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM

How to Get There (from central Singapore)

1. Take the MRT to HarbourFront MRT Station

2. Exit the station and make your way to VivoCity Mall (3rd floor)

3. Board the Sentosa Express monorail from VivoCity to Resorts World Station

4. From the station, follow signage to The Forum Level B1 inside Resorts World Sentosa.

Each room was a stunning mix of immersive technology, lights, and iconic moments from the films. The projection mapping and sound design made you feel like you were living inside the movies.  Stepping into the Chamber of Secrets and seeing its eerie, mystical design was absolutely surreal. There were 10 different rooms and every room is filled with magic. I was literally able to use my wand! Unlike a typical museum exhibit, Visions of Magic invites you to interact with the space. You can wave your wand (or your hand!) to activate spells, reveal hidden creatures, and even walk through magical portals. The digital projections and soundscapes create a fully immersive environment — you don’t just see the magic, you feel it.

I wish I had brought more wizarding money to buy myself some Harry Potter merchandise. There were lots, but I controlled myself to buy what I don't need. The Klook ticket I bought for the Harry Potter: Visions of Magic include S$10 merchandise or store retail voucher so I was able to get these Gryffindor and Slytherin cupcakes!
