How to Get to Kape Natividad from Manila
One of the best things about Kape Natividad is that it’s very accessible from Manila.
By Car or Motorcycle:
- From Cubao, take Marcos Highway (Marilaque Road).
- Continue driving towards Tanay, Rizal.
Kape Natividad is located along the highway itself—making it a convenient pit stop for those on the way to other Tanay attractions.
Travel time is about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
By Public Transport:
- From Cubao or Cogeo, ride a jeep or van bound for Tanay.
- Get off at the area along Marilaque near the café. It’s better to ask the driver to drop you off directly since it’s a known spot among locals and travelers.
Most people prefer going via private vehicle or motorcycle since public transport can be limited, especially if you’re staying late.

The café is open-air, giving you a refreshing mountain breeze and a panoramic view of Sierra Madre. It’s the perfect spot to take a break after a long ride. Sunrise and early mornings are especially beautiful here. We went to Kape Natividad via motorcycle from Taguig and went there as early as 6:30 am. It's cold in Tanay in the morning so it's best to have a warm clothing when going there.

- Weekdays: Less crowded compared to weekends.
- Bring a jacket. The weather in Marilaque can get chilly, especially in the morning or during the rainy seasons
- Prepare for spotty signal. Some areas along the highway have weak mobile data, so download maps in advance
- Parking is available, but it can get full on weekends, so go early
- Bring cash. Not all establishments in Tanay accept digital payments, so bring extra cash just in case. Kape Natividad accepts card payments so far.
