It's been a year since I got my first Style Genie Box. Late September this year, I bought another box to see if it is still worth it to get.
To everyone who is not yet familiar of Style Genie, it is the first ever styling subscription box in Manila where featured Stylists curate an outfit and send them to you packed in a big purple box + surprises. Well, surprise because you don't know what exactly are you getting, and, because the featured stylist will give you a personal letter on how you can mix and match the outfit with shoes and what hair style to do.
This is a loooong overdue post because I went MIA on my blogging career because of some personal reason, but I still want to share my thoughts and experiences about this box.

I actually received a different set of clothes before this #ootd however I received the wrong sizes so I wasn't able to take a photo of me wearing it. I loved the initial clothes that StyleGenie sent. It is a pair of pink boho blouse and a plain white plaid skirt. (Too bad I wasn't able to take a photo of it too!)
To be honest, my 2nd transaction was a hassle. I am quite disappointed that I got the wrong sizes when I clearly indicated on my style profile the current sizes. I have to return the clothes to get a replacement and wait for another week to get it back and be curated by the featured stylist.
Chynna Mamawal styled the initial outfit for this box. Unfortunately, I got this super simple nude dress that I don't know if it is even worth my 799php. Yes, it is a perfect fit for me but I am not impressed with the replacement.
I still want to get another box, though. I love the idea of getting these surprise clothes, it's just that I will not expect too much. When I fill up or update my style profile, I will adjust sizes so that I can get the correct size of clothes.
