Dazzle Me Muse Pressed Foundation | Review

"Affordable beauty" is one of the main reasons why I started this blog. I used to purchase drugstore and department store cosmetics because of their affordability and it, becoming easily accessible to market. And I am still in awe how time flied, I am still blogging and sharing all things budget beauty for you all. 


I have come across pressed foundations before that I loved because of its ability to cover blemishes and to last long. One of which is Silky Girl Magic BB All-in-One Powder. I'm giving you the caveat here, I found another good pressed foundation in Dazzle Me's Muse Pressed Foundation.


Admit it, we love the coverage that liquid foundations can give. But it can sometimes be bulky to carry especially for girls who like bringing small bags outside. This is the perfect timing for me because I am organizing my stuff that I can fit on my office bag, sling bag, and travel bags.  The Dazzle Me's Muse Pressed Foundation is very compact and handy that it can perfectly fit small bags whenever you need a retouch.

PACKAGING
The Dazzle Me Muse Pressed Foundation comes in a pastel pink and purple compact with mirror and puff inside. It has 6g of pressed foundation, and a very smooth puff to pick up the product.


My shade works well between the 04 Warm Mocca and 01 Fair Enough, so I use any of the two for my face. Truth be told, it has a nice coverage and is very light on the skin. It has a mild floral powder scent that is not irritating (which for me, feels like it adds some kind of freshness) It doesn't oil up, and easily blurs the skin when applied.

LONG-WEAR TEST
Work From Home Setup
I tried applying the pressed foundation before my shift, not being in an air-conditioned room, and my foundation lasted almost the entire shift. My home office is ventilated and doesn't make me sweat easily.

Onsite Work Setup
Since the office is air-conditioned, it helps make the foundation stay longer without retouching and being oily. 

Staying under the sun
Wearing this pressed foundation under the sun in this humid country doesn't make it stay long especially if you easily sweat. Mine can last at least 2-3 hours.





MY THOUGHTS

  • If you're looking for a foundation that can blur imperfections, this is it. It can blur, but not totally cover skin imperfections especially dark marks. Concealer with high coverage is still needed. If you have fair skin, with less dark marks, this might work. 
  • It is lightweight and easy to apply
  • Compact and can easily be brought when using small bags going to the mall or market
  • Complete package because it has a puff and mirror
  • Puff is soft and doesn't absorb all the product. Easily transfers the product to the skin
  • Affordable for its target market. Perfect for teens who are starting their makeup journey
  • Cute packaging
