OU - Anti Pollution Me Nyeo Sun BB Cream - Review

Achieving Korean glass skin has been one of the goals of some beauty enthusiasts since Korean beauty and skincare products were introduced to the Filipino market. Truth be told, Korean skin is very admirable because of their fair complexion, and some Filipina are into getting fairer skin instead of maintaining their natural kayumanggi color.

While there are lots of Korean products that are already available in the market, there are still Korean brands that are not yet known by everyone. In my years of discovering Korean beauty, I am still surprised that there are brands that I am not familiar with and for today, I am yet to uncover a new brand called OU, and one of its products is the Anti Pollution Me Nyeo Sun BB Cream.

Where to buy? Charis.Net
Price: Get the OU-Anti Pollution Me Nyeo Sun BB Cream at 18% OFF (for only 1,080php instead of 1,320php when you buy directly from my shop - shyieesolove's shop)
Package contains 50ml of BB Cream and comes in a squeeze tube container.

What it claims:

  • Blocks fine dust - protects your skin against pollution
  • Watertight protection against UV rays and fine dust
  • Glowing and pampered-looking skin
  • Superb coverage
  • Whitening, anti-wrinkle effect
  • With SPF 50 PA+++
Ingredients:
  • Jojoba seed oil - reduces dryness
  • Macadamia seed oil - doesn't clog the pores
  • Olive Leaf Extract - excellent in preventing wrinkles and fine lines

I was surprised to see how big the tube is. It's about the size of a big toothpaste, very unlikely for a BB Cream container. My usual BB Creams comes in a wider but shorter tubes or pump bottles, but the OU - Anti Pollution Me Nyeo Sun BB Cream is in a slim tube type that can go to your day to day vanity kit.

The tip of the tube dispenses the right amount of product and a little squeeze of the product goes a long way. Below, you can see the arm swatch of the product. It has a thick consistency but is easy to spread onto the skin. It feels like putting a creamy but watery product when applied.

Because of its thick consistency, it doesn't leave white cast on the skin and doesn't create white streaks as well. I just noticed that it has a bit of shimmer when spread out to the skin. The shade is too light for a normal Filipina skin tone.

What I do to achieve a darker tone is mix the cream with a darker powder foundation so that it doesn't make my face too white.

My thoughts:

  • It has a very lightweight feel. The OU Anti Pollution Me Nyeo Sun BB Cream has a non-sticky formula and creates a light and dewy finish. It feels like putting on moisturizer, sunscreen, and foundation in one product.
  • Dewy finish - provides high level of hydration that keeps the skin from being moisturized
  • Sheer to Medium Coverage - it covers blemishes but the shade is too light for Filipina skin.
  • Because it contains SPF 5- PA+++, the OU Anti Pollution Me Nyeo Sun BB Cream provides good sun protection.
  • Lasts for about 3-4 hours on the skin if you're in an air-conditioned room, but only lasts for almost 2 hours if you travel or commute under the sun.
I already have a fair skin but the OU Anti Pollution Me Nyeo Sun BB Cream makes it extra whiter. To balance the shade, I make sure I mix it with darker liquid foundation or powder foundation.
