Last year, I have reviewed the Maybelline White Super Fresh Powder Foundation in Natural 03. It was one of the powder foundations that worked well for me when it comes to coverage. For me, if a foundation provides medium to heavy coverage, it's best. The Natural shade was a perfect match for me. I was supposed to try a new brand, however, my wallet says NO when I was about to pick up that other brand. Oh well, maybe some other time! So I tried another shade which is the Honey 04.

I've been on make up break for about two months already. I just don't feel like putting anything on my face except moisturizer. I wanted to take a break on some beauty products for my skin to rest on some harmful chemicals, but since it's already summer and most of the time, my face gets too oily, I wanted to keep it fresh and smooth looking.
MY REVIEW:
Just like my review for Natural 03, I like the sleek and elegant compact which will make you think it's a compact powder with glass container. It doesn't look cheap in any sense and you wouldn't realize that it's only Php299 (Php249 when I bought it). The mirror on the cover part is large and is very clear! I can even see my pores. Jk. The powder itself is on the left part of the clear container, and sponge on the right part. The sponge is stiff, just like any other Maybelline foundation sponges I've bought. I personally don't like the sponge since it tends to break when smudged thoroughly. You need to wash your sponge after use if you wise, so that you wouldn't have break outs. I like that it has a matte finish, and gives even coverage (light to medium) to my face. I think this one works best for oily and combination skin. The base has a little punch hole if you want to refill your compact. Though it doesn't really cover all of your blemishes (which you really want to hide), it still gives a fine finish when applied. Honey 04 shade is too light for me, that is why I think that I will not be able to use it. I feel like an espasol when I use this. I always get comments from my friends like 'foundationn day teh?' or 'puti naman ng mukha mo' so I think this shade doesn't suit me.
Plus, I don't like the shiny and oily feeling after 3-4 hours so I have to retouch for my face not to look too oily. I think I will not repurchase this one.
